  6. Hi I’m Mariam Nagib working in the climate department at Orange Egypt, with a focus on circular economy. Being new in this field, for just two years, I realised I was far behind from realities that were alien to me, and the will to learn, discover and develop, all came naturally. Realization triggers the need to ‘find out’.

I look forward to raising awareness on climate issues and climate action for myself, across my organisation and within my community. It’s a diverse subject covering so many elements so it can never get outdated and we can never have sufficient information. We are all a result of our upbringing which, at my age, clearly failed to address this topic. That’s why staying educated / informed is a core requirement that will drive everyone’s contribution in different ways, subject to education, community, profession, age, etc.

  9. Hi, I am Mostafa Nagy, working as energy and environmental engineer, Orange Egypt

We are deeply interested in decarbonization projects for our company and set near and far targets to reach finally zero carbon emissions.

I believe that this targets and optimistic vision could be achieved by managing all the projects that could help to contribute for this targets.

Not only for projects related to the company itself, but also with other initiatives for reducing and limiting Marvin emissions and natural resources.

In my opinion, I believe that countries and specially renewable and sustainable departments should apply specific rules and penalties to entities and firms who waste and miss use resources and encourage those who maintain and reduce carbon emissions.

  10. Hi
I am Mostafa Hegazy, almost 50 years old. I have a wife and three children ( all are currently teenagers).
I loved engineering since my early childhood times. Hence, I became an electronic & communications engineer. I joined only one company throughout my 25 years career time.
During my life journey, I enjoyed and strived to learn more. I consider learning as one of the essential human needs such as air and water.
As we learn we develop our mindsets and expand our vision to our life.
To be specific, I am always eager to deliver value where I am as most as I can. I am not always succeeding but always “learning more”.
The first time I heard about sustainability was about 13 years back. During our MBA study, we have been requested to deliver a project about sustainability using system dynamics technique. I can’t say that we made it in a good way but we read a lot and understand many issues about our earth sustainability.
For me as I live in a country with a huge space of desert, I am always concerned about water scarcity and appreciating its value. I always look to water usage around us inside home, work, streets,…..everywhere.
Guess it is enough for now
    Best regards
    Mostafa
